What this site collects, and what it does not.

The inquiry form

The contact form on the main page collects what you type into it: your name, company, email, phone, and whatever you write about your project. Submissions are processed by Netlify, our hosting provider, and delivered to eli@hartwood.group. They are read by a person, not resold, and not used to train anything.

The chat assistant

The chat window on this site is an automated assistant, not a person. It can answer general questions about what we do and take a message for Eli Hart, who replies personally.

Please do not enter contract language, cost figures, or any confidential project information in the chat. Conversations are processed and stored by a third-party vendor (Rosie, heyrosie.com) under that vendor's own terms, and no confidentiality agreement exists between us until we sign one. Anything sensitive belongs on a call, after an NDA.

The assistant does not give legal, engineering, or accounting advice. If you would rather skip it entirely, call or text (859) 361-9320 or email eli@hartwood.group. A person answers both.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. It sets cookies and reports to Google, and it tells us how many people came and what they looked at, not who they are. We do not sell or share that data. Standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) are kept by Netlify as part of hosting, and the chat vendor may set cookies needed for the chat session to function.

If you would rather not be counted, most browsers offer a Do Not Track or tracking-protection setting, and Google publishes an opt-out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Nothing on this site requires you to be tracked to read it or to contact us.

Client work

Documents shared with us during an engagement are governed by your nondisclosure agreement and our engagement letter, not by this page. Nothing a client sends us goes into the chat vendor's systems, and nothing from one engagement appears in another.

To ask what we hold about you, or to have a chat transcript or form submission deleted, email eli@hartwood.group and it will be handled directly.
